The $averPak InsectGuard Permethrin Sprays are designed to repel mosquitoes, ticks, flies, and other insects that can carry and transmit viruses and diseases such as the Zika virus, West Nile virus, and Lyme disease. This clothing and gear treatment not only repels insects but also kills them upon contact. It is effective against more than 55 types of insects and is safe to use on clothing, fabrics, plastics, and outdoor gear without causing any damage or stains.

The ready-to-use water-based 0.50% permethrin spray requires no mixing or dilution before application. Once dried, it is odorless and provides protection equivalent to 100% DEET, lasting for up to 6 weeks or 6 launderings. The drying time after treatment is approximately 2 hours.

In addition to treating clothing and gear, the product is also registered for space spraying to control various insects like mosquitoes, house flies, fruit flies, gnats, wasps, hornets, and moths. It can be used on dogs to eliminate fleas, ticks, and lice while also safeguarding travel luggage from bedbugs and other insects.
